The Role You Play
You are a son or daughter of God. When Jesus stepped onto the scene of your heart,
revealed who God is to you and you chose Him, you were awakened to your divine royalty as a child of the King. On the cross, Jesus died for you, as you. When you said “yes” to Jesus, you literally died with Him and are raised to life as a new being; you are born anew as something that has never existed before. You are remade and your DNA carries the family line. You are now one with the Divine and have the heart of God and the mind of Christ.
When you embrace this new identity as royalty, you naturally will begin to walk with confidence, bestowing justice, mercy, and peace at every turn. You will stand tall and sure in the love of your Father. You will see the wonders of the kingdom you are part of and also see the vital role you play in stewarding it.
Because you are noble, the world responds to you in a way it doesn’t respond to any other created being in the universe. This place obeys you. This place is groaning for you to embrace your divine inheritance and realize who and what you are. You have a role to play and no one can play it for you. No one can be a substitute for you. We need you to do your part, to fill the role that was made for you!
You are royalty, and that comes with a responsibility. You don’t have the throne to sit there and do nothing. You are called to act, to build, to rule. Here’s how you step onto the scene: love your neighbor, bless those that hate you, pray for those that persecute or despise you. Steward this place you’ve been given by being the truest version of yourself. By being the real you: honest, free, uninhibited. The very thing God designed you to be. You get to bestow light and love to the world just as Jesus did. You get to continue taking ground and building the Kingdom with every step, every word, every act.
You get to follow the path Love has set. It starts with believing the Truth. By believing you’re royal, that your role is important, and that you are designed perfectly to fill it. From that place, you will SHINE. It is inevitable.
