Evil Has no Power

When Jesus died on the cross, He stripped evil of its power. The keys to the kingdom were taken from Satan and given back to Jesus. The power of sin and the Law was nullified, and grace took over reality. Evil spirits lost their ability to affect this world of their own accord and they have no power of their own. The twist in the story—­­the fascinating clincher—­­is that they found a back door.

Every human being is made in the image of God. By nature, our approval, decree and consent carries authority in the spirit world. What we believe and decide affects the natural world and the spirit world must concede to our faith. Evil spirits don’t have the power to influence this world on their own because they don’t have the authority and cannot accomplish their will alone. Remember that back door they found? Do you know what it is?

You.

You heard me right. It’s YOU. A human being with divine coding, carrying the very likeness of God Himself. You are how evil accesses our realm and influences this place with its nature. You are the one with authority here, with the keys to the kingdom, seated in heavenly places. Your choices are the ones that affect what happens in the spirit which manifests in the natural world. What you agree with will affect this place. 

You guys, the spirit inside of us is POWERFUL—so much so that it shifts atmospheres, our physical experience and what happens in the spirit realm. Because of Who raised us from the dead, it has been made easy for us to disagree with evil when we follow Love. God is love and He’s the One giving our hearts their beat and putting air in our lungs. We are literally made of love, BECAUSE of love, so it’s the most natural thing in the world for us to disagree with evil because it has nothing to do with who we are. 

Friends, know the power of which you were made. Know the royalty that you were born into. Evil has no power when you truly know who your Dad is and when you know who and what you are.
