I remember when I was working in a corporate office job in my early twenties, I marveled at the culture around me. These adults were five to twenty years older than me and they had been trained by the corporate system to do as little as possible. What was the point of doing a better job given that they were being paid the same anyway? They traded time for money.

This didn’t just provide a disappointing, toxic work environment that I returned to day after day (where I spent the majority of my conscious day, five days a week,) but it also deteriorated the scope and vitality these people lived their lives with. It was like an adult prison and these people willingly sent themselves there everyday.

I remember purposing in my heart that I would not let that be normal for me. I didn’t know how it would change, I didn’t have the knowledge, skills, network or powerful beliefs I do now but I had absolute resolve I would not live like that.

Thankfully God had a different plan for me than the gray, cubicle life and thankfully, I followed Him out of it.

On that journey, because God was confronting poverty, fear and lack in me, I began to study principles of success. I studied wealth principles, prosperity and spiritual law. Through that journey, I branched into the “side-hustle” world and built a few businesses while I continued to work full time as an employee.

The things I learned about money, income and business CHANGED MY LIFE.

In a few short years, I put what I learned to work and was self-employed by the age of 29.

There is so much opportunity all around us. Now, more than ever.

The biggest reason people don’t capitalize on it is firstly because their beliefs prohibit them from seeing success and thus they can’t consider something different. Secondly, their knowledge about money and income is limited because usually they were taught by another employee how to understand these things.

This is where everything changes.
